Sophisticated Backpacks

Portable, wearable storage that accepts function upgrades. Press B while it's equipped to open it without taking it off. With Curios, the backpack rides in the Back slot, so your chestplate stays free. Tier up in place and contents + upgrades carry over.

Function upgrades slot into the upgrade slots (most have an Advanced version with more filter slots):

• Collection: Pickup (auto-collect walked-over items), Magnet (pull items + XP), Restock, Refill.
• Processing: Stack Upgrade (bigger per-slot stacks), Compacting, a 3×3 Crafting grid, Stonecutter, Smelting/Smoking/Blasting (Auto- variants pull and return automatically).
• Maintenance: Feeding (auto-eat), Tool Swapper (auto-pick the right tool).
• Cleanup & conversion: Deposit, Filter, Void, Tank (fluid storage), Battery (FE), XP Pump.
• Misc: Jukebox, Inception (nest backpacks), Everlasting (fire/lava/void-proof).

Chests & drawers

Iron Chests

Bigger single chests (they don't merge into doubles). Upgrade a placed chest in place by holding a chest-upgrade item and right-clicking it.

Storage Drawers

• Quick-access bulk storage. Right-click a face to deposit; double-tap to dump all matching items. Styles: 1×1 (1 type), 1×2, 2×2; Half drawers hold half.
• Drawer Controller: scans all connected drawers (~12 blocks) as one inventory; right-click to auto-sort an inventory into the wall.
• Compacting Drawer auto-converts block/ingot/nugget tiers. Storage Upgrades multiply capacity (up to ~32x); Void Upgrade destroys overflow.
• Keys: Drawer Key (lock to one item), Quantify Key (toggle count display), Concealment Key (hide icon), Personal Key (owner-lock).

Advanced Shulkerboxes: right-click a shulker box from your inventory or hand to open its contents without placing it; sneak+use to place it instead.

Curios (accessories)

Curios adds extra equipment slots beyond armor and offhand. Open the accessory screen with G or the Curios button on the inventory screen. A slot type only appears once an installed item uses it.

Mods like Artifacts register trinkets into these slots (Cloud in a Bottle for a double jump, Obsidian Skull for fire resistance, rings, amulets, gloves and capes).

Farmer's Delight

A full cooking system: new crops (Tomatoes, Onions, Cabbage, Rice), Rich Soil for faster growth, and workstations that turn raw food into high-nourishment meals.

• Cooking Pot: place above a heat source; combines up to 6 ingredients + a container (Bowl for stews, Bottle for drinks). Makes Beef Stew, Fried Rice, Ratatouille and more.
• Cutting Board: place it, right-click an item onto it, then right-click with a tool. Knives slice, axes strip logs (+Tree Bark), shears process plants.
• Skillet: fries food ~5x a campfire; also an iron-tier melee weapon. Stove: a fuel-free heat source you can also cook 6 items on directly.
• Large Meals (addon) adds feasts and elaborate dishes; Farmer's Cutting: Quark adds cutting-board recipes for Quark items.

Decoration & building

• Supplementaries (needs Moonlight Lib): a huge decoration + utility mod: Sconces, Globes, Hourglasses, Blackboards, Flags/Bunting, plus functional blocks (Jar, Faucet, Sack, blast-proof Safe, Notice Board, Cage, Rope) and redstone gadgets (Crank, Turn Table, Speaker Block, Bellows).
• Amendments: tweaks vanilla blocks: Carpet Stairs/Slabs, swinging Wall Lanterns, Hanging Flower Pots, Directional Cake, Tool Hooks, and behavioral tweaks (item-holding hanging signs, content-tinted brewing stands).
• Quark (needs Zeta; modular): vanilla+ building: the headline Vertical Slabs (~50+ types), Wooden Posts, Hollow Logs, Framed Glass, Paper Walls, Stools, plus QoL tweaks (Inventory Sorting, Auto Tool Restock, Pickarang, Trowel, Hoe Harvesting).
• Chipped: turns one block into hundreds of decorative variants at no cost (1:1, fully reversible) via 7 workstations (Mason Table, Carpenter's Table, Botanist Workbench, Glassblower, Loom Table, Alchemy Bench, Tinkering Table). ~7,000 variants total.

Quality of life

• Comforts: Sleeping Bags (skip to morning) and Hammocks (nap during day to skip to night). Neither changes your spawn point.
• TrashSlot (needs Balm): a trash slot in inventory screens; keeps the last deleted item as undo. Keys: Delete deletes under cursor, T toggles the slot.
• Mouse Tweaks: RMB-drag to distribute items, LMB-drag to gather, Shift+drag to bulk-move, scroll over a stack to move one at a time.
• Tiny Redstone: thin redstone panels with miniature components (dust, repeaters, pistons, lamps) so whole circuits fit on one block face.

EMI recipe viewer

Tinkreate uses EMI (not JEI) in a low-distraction mode: the item list stays hidden while the search bar is empty, and appears the moment you type.

• Core keys (hover an item): R view recipes, U view uses, A favorite, Ctrl+F focus search, Ctrl+O hide the overlay.
• Search grammar: plain text = name, @ = mod, # = tag, $ = tooltip, - negates, "quoted" = exact.
• Recipe Tree breaks an item down to base ingredients; the + (Fill) button auto-moves ingredients from your inventory into the grid.
